She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmers Whitby and Joan Whitby; her stepparents, Fred and Marilyn Haywood; her sister Anne (Doug Ward); and her sibling-in-law Brion (Sherry).
She is survived by: her husband Doug Penhale; her siblings, Thomas (Gord) and Sharon (Jim Finlay); her siblings-in-law, Sheila and Mark Penhale; her nieces and nephews, Jenny (Christopher), Joanna (Trevor), Matthew (Janna), Nicholas (Taylor) and Austin; her great-niece Morley-Rose; her great-nephew Nolan; her stepsiblings, Richard and Anastesia (Christopher Lee); and her nieces and nephews, Alexis and Josh.
