She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Amaral of Conceicao Soares and Manuel Amaral Jr.; her siblings, Odilia, Maria (Virgilo) of Luz, Diniz (Georgina), Jose and Anibal; and her brother-in-law Manuel (Maria Eduarda).
She is survived by: her spouse Antero De Medeiros; her children, Louisa Pileggi (Tony), Zenalia Vetere (Carlo), Sandra Salgado (Paulo), Susan Ayres (David) and Tammy Teixeira (Carlos); and her siblings-in-law, Hilda, Isaltina, Ernesto, Martin (Connie), Fatima (Louis), Joe (Mary), Geraldina (Joe) and Oliver (Yaima). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 8:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (10 Elm St, London, ON N5Z2K2). An entombment was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
