He was predeceased by: his sister Marica Brunski (Nikola). He is survived by: his wife Ljubica Pozeg; his children, Cristine Kowalenko (Billy) and Nancy Pozeg; his grandson Evan Goldrick; his siblings, Alojz Pozeg (Mira) and Nikola Pozeg (Nada); and his siblings-in-law, Jure Crnic (Dubravka) and Mirjana Knezevic (Fabijan). He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in Joseph's memory can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
