He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy Whitaker; his siblings-in-law, Karen Whitaker and Andy Singleton (Junior Miracle); and his parents, John Whitaker and Mildred Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitaker; his daughter Johanna Whitaker; his granddaughter Camryn Whitaker; his stepdaughter Jeannie Ecker (Ryan Dixon); his sisters, Linda Singleton and Debbie Miracle; and his siblings-in-law, Ann, Doug Schmaltz, Angela and Ken Bohnert.
