He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lou Appleton; his children, Caryl, Donna (Joe), Joan (Don), John (Heather) and Charlene; his stepchildren, Michelle (Robert) and Alyson (Ken); his siblings, Tom Appleton (Deanna) and Joan Nelson (Harry); and his parents, Stanley Appleton and Ethel Appleton. He was also cherished by his 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
