He is survived by: his children, Sean (Danielle), Brian and Angela (Ryan); his siblings, Keith McGaughey (Judy) and Elizabeth McIvor (William); and his nieces and nephews, Stephen, Lori, Scott and Tracy. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

“I was very saddened to learn about john's passing. When i was in the air force i used to get Christmas cards and notes from a very young johnny. He was 12 years younger than i, but we always had a special bond. I want to let Keith, Judy, Betty and Bill that i am thinking of them all at this time.
