He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Downie and Jane Watson Downie; and his siblings, Annie "Nan" Glen and Bernard Downie. He is survived by: his children, Linda (Sandy), Michael (Randy) and Iain (Graeme); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Lilia Claire and Dorian; and his great grandchildren, Joshua and Cole. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
