He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Sean and Amanda; the mother of his children Debbie Atkinson; his sisters, Nancy Ferris of Hepworth and Anne Kurmey (Wayne) of Bolton; his parents, Betty Atkinson and Burton Atkinson; and also, Tyler and Shannon. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lupus Canada.
