He was predeceased by: his wife Ana Mida Egan; his parents, James Egan and Mary Egan; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his children, Catherine (late Andreas) and Tim (Mary Anne); his grandchildren, Alexander, Michael, Olivia (Raz), Talia, Deirdra and Kieran; and his siblings-in-law, Cecilia (Steve), Dennis and Irene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
