He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerardus Overmars and Maria Overmars. He is survived by: his wife Catherina (Tiny); his children, Gail (Rick), Marilyn (Rob), Gerald (Carol), Diane (John), Caroline (Craig) and Rob (Kerri); his grandchildren, Kirk (Danni), Kelly (Heather), Jason (Kristyn), Derek (Alice), Jenna (Jason), Richelle (Matt), Marlee (Keegan), Erin (Brendan), Julia (Stephen), Alexa, Kyla, Nicole, Ashli and Jada; and his siblings, Anton, Annie, John, Mien and Johan. He is also survived by great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
