She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Aitken; her son Jeffrey; her sibling Jean Payne; her sister-in-law Kay Ellul (Joe); and her grandson Jordan.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Burton, Marlene Koning (Peter), Liz Koning (Mike) and Don Aitken (Tina); her grandchildren, Kristine, Kaitlyn (Brendan), Carol (Terry), Michael (Kristin), Alyssa (Dave), Brandon and Jessyca (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Jasmine, Olivia, Arya, Aydin, Andrew, Oliver, Robbie, Rikki, Grace and Lucas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
