He was predeceased by: his mother Corrie Ann Sutton; and his stepsister Joan Cheshire. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Betty" Sutton; his children, Ian Sutton (Cindy), Eric Sutton and Leona Sutherland; and his grandson Damian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
