She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill; her children, Elizabeth, Suzanne Mogan (Peter) of Vancouver and James "Jim" Le Ber (Marlene Janzen) of London; her grandchildren, Robyn Bright (Noah), Katie Graham (Will), Fraser, Gavin (Becca Minielly) and Lou Le Ber; her great grandchildren, Finnian, Elowyn, Fife and Beatrice-Jane; her brother Ian Sword (Diane); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Hibbs and Mary Davies; her parents, Adelaide Sword and Hal Sword of Sword's Haberdashery; and also Paul McIlwraith. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the North Park Community Church (1510 Fanshawe Park Rd E, London, ON N5X4A3). She became a widow at 87, living alone for the first time in her life, and then Covid hit. The widespread use of face masks and face shields cut off her primary means of communication (lip reading and facial expression).
