He was predeceased by: his siblings, Inez MacMillan and Gordon Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, David Heins, Norman MacMillan and Joan Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Lois B. Hunter; his sons, Alan Hunter (Ginette) of Mooretown, Kevin Hunter (Patricia) of London and Ronald Hunter (Daniela) of London; his grandchildren, Alexander, Kyler, Shaelynne, Emma and Pascal; and his sister Elaine Heins of Renfrew, Ontario..
