He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Myrtle Hill (Murray); his son Murray Hill; his parents, James Sr. Hill and Maud Hill (Taylor); his siblings, Hilda Bent (John), Elizabeth Jones (Jack), Jack Hill (Jessie) and Leah Woosnam (Russ); and his parents-in-law, Elmer Murray (Dorothy), Art Murray (Alice), Wilfred Murray (Kay), Bill Murray and Mildred Pond (Gord).
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Hill, Pat Meadows (Glenn), Debra Hill and Doug Hill (Wendy); his daughter-in-law Linda Gibbings (Chamings); his grandson Andrew Meadows (Sherri); his great grandchildren, Josh, Matt Hill, Ava, Drew Meadows, Erin Bean (Daren), Lyndsay Meadows, Kirby Wheaton, Kara MacKinnon, Caileigh MacKinnon, Jamie MacKinnon (Meghan), Katie Danton (Geoff), Tyler Hill, Jason Hill and Nicole Hill; and also, Nathan, Sarah, Owen, Lukas, Rhylen, William, Wes and Wyatt.
