He was predeceased by: his former wife Rose; his daughter Erin Germain; his son-in-law Dr. Stewart Whitman; his siblings, Gloria and Ron; his sister-in-law Roberta; and his parents, William Germain and Grace Germain.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Spracklan; his children, Dean Germain (Kristina) and Dana Whitman; his stepchildren, Gennette Weido and Christopher Weido (Amy); his grandchildren, Joshua Germain (Tracy Chittilappilly), Taylor Germain (Kaleigh Dixon), Christopher Couture (Kourtney), Mackenzie Whitman (Zachary Laviolette), Grace Whitman, Calvin Weido and Cole Weido; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Leia, Aaliyah, Gemma, Kirah and Farrah. He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
