He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his son Johnny; and his siblings, Ethel Fitzgerald, Jack and George.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Small of Edmonton, George (Nancy) of Arkona and Melinda (Dan) of Petawawa; and his grandchildren, Sabrina (Brad), Jessica (Steve), Corey, Ryan (Jacqui), Adam (Alycia), Kyle and Shannon (Kevin).
