He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Gray and Nola Gray (Buckingham); his parents-in-law, Frances (Sommerford) and Alister Duncan; and his siblings-in-law, Alister Duncan, Jim Heffernan, Robert "Bobby" Duncan, Robert Alger and Teresa "Pat" Heffernan.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Gray (Duncan); his son Stephen Gray; his sister Jane O'Connor; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Alger, Kathy, Robert Morlock and Heather Duncan. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
