It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irwin A. Schinkel (London, Ontario), born in Jansen, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Schinkel and Caroline Schinkel; his stepmother Isabel Schinkel; his siblings, Richard, Anita and Adelene; and his son Gary Roy.

He is survived by: his significant other Jeanette Schinkel (Jan); his sons, Carl (Deborah), Gregory (Robin) and Christopher (Kelly); and his daughter-in-law Kitty Roy. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
