He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jim Hardie and Stuart (Vicki Hardie); and his parents, Elizabeth Hardie and Ross Hardie. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hardie; his children, Scott (Christine Hardie) and Katy Hardie (Jeff Edgar); his grandchildren, Liam and Mikayla Hardie; his siblings, David (Mary Hardie), Shelia Hardie (Kevin Williams), Janice (Paul Murray) and Bruce Hardie; and his brother-in-law Ron Goode. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
