He was predeceased by: his parents, Neville Newman and Phyllis Newman (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Christine (Chris Coulson) of Ottawa and Sarah (Jeremy Marchant); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, William Coulson, Julia and Eloïse Marchant.
