He was predeceased by: his wife Yvette Binnendyk; his parents, Johanna Binnendyk (Anne) and Arie Binnendyk; his brother Bob Binnendyk; and his grandsons, Jeffrey Binnendyk and Luke Binnendyk.
He is survived by: his children, John Binnendyk of Port Elgin, Mike Binnendyk (Kathy) of Seaforth, David Binnendyk (Mechelle) of Komoka, Joan Binnendyk (Kevin) of London, Linda Kondrosky (Erik) of Phoenix and Lois Binnendyk (Pierre) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica Binnendyk, Jennifer Costello, Nicole Tiegs, Samantha Sinasac, Cody Pelacek, Kristian, Alex, Taylor Binnendyk, Sarah Marson, Joseph Mellen, Jackson Binnendyk, Ashton, Ryder Kondrosky, Sydni and Mackenzie Furlong; his great grandchildren, Anderson, Henrik Binnendyk, Brixton, Gracie Moreno, Jakob, Layla, Nash Binnendyk, Madisen, Breanna, Carson Costello, Connor, Ava Tiegs and Caleb Marson; and his sister Gerda Vennema. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
