He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Ben" Dawson and Edith Fleming; and his stepfather Fred Fleming. He is survived by: his children, Ben Dawson (Claire), Lucas Dawson (Dorothy) and Laura Schlotzhauer (Mike); his sisters, Deanne Harvey and Judy LaChance; and his grandchildren, Evan, Adam, Julianna, Kiersten, Ethan, Haley and Paige.
