She was predeceased by: her parents, Tibor Lukacs Elfer and Elsa Ines Araya Vargus. She is survived by: her son Rodrigo Andres Silva Lukacs of London; her husband Richard Vanderwerf; her brother Andres Lukacs Araya (Monica); her stepson Hezikiah Vanderwerf; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Rosseel, Barbara Wysman (John), Audrey Hamilton, Sydney Vanderwerf, Maurice Rosseel and Robert Hamilton.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
