She was predeceased by: her husband Willem Roes; her parents, Nicholas Wijk and Anne Van Wijk; her siblings, Mary-Lou and Mark; and her parents-in-law, Piet, Mebbie, Barbara, Suzanne, Robert, Wilhelmina Roes-Langlois, Bergh, Steven, Tineke and Ton.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Mary), Susan (David) and Caroline (Darrin); her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew (Katie), Jacqueline (Andre), Danielle (James), Michael, Shaun and Aimee; her great grandchild Macey; her siblings, Joe (Dianne), Rose, Alfons, Norbert and Hans; her parents-in-law, Anne and Oscar; and her friend Sarah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and/or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
