He was predeceased by: his brother Ted; and his brother-in-law Scott Hodgert (Susan). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his brothers, Bill (Ellen) and Bob Long; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Hodgert, Leslie Duncan (Brad), Kevin Hodgert (Mel), D'Arcy Hodgert and Barry Hodgert (Tony). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family and friends.
