He was predeceased by: his daughter Carolyn "Cook" Greenway; his grandson Thomas McGregor; and his sister Pat Derbyshire. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" McGregor; his children, Kim (late Ted Froud), Kathy (Bob Destun) and Andrew (Martha McGregor); and his brother-in-law Jim Derbyshire. He is also survived by grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and "Uncle Gary" to many nieces and nephews.
