Garry Frederick Potter Obituary

We bid farewell to Garry Frederick Potter of London, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Garry Frederick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Potter; his mother Margaret Potter; and his sisters, Mary Lou Potter and Betty Ann Atkinson. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Byrne (David), David Potter (Darlene) and John Potter (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Victoria and Matthew Potter. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (65 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M1M7). A reception will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Garry's name by cheque to The Horseless Carriage Club of Southern Ontario (ATTN: Youth Fund) or via etransfer to [email protected], a fitting tribute to a man who believed in building things, looking to the future and establishing a connection and between his hobby and the collectors of tomorrow.
