He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley Holness; and his sisters, Betty, Marion and Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Mike, Heather Holness, Lin and Doug Bannister; his grandchildren, Meghan (Rob), Ben, Nicole (Tom), Dan (Shannon) and Robbie (Jesse); and his great grandchildren, Nico, Chris, Miah, Rye, Stanley, Simon, Freddie and Lennon.
