He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mary Kohut (Fred) and Julie Strauss (Len). He is survived by: his wife Edna McDermott; his children, Michael (Barbara), Dan (Maria), Maureen (Mike Verellen) and David (Lynette); his stepchildren, Patrick McDermott (Beth), Terry McDermott (Tanina), Brian McDermott and Kevin McDermott; his sister Theresa Mader; his grandchildren, Josh, Jason, Tini, Ben, Rebecca, Melissa, Anne Marie, Fraser and David; and his stepgrandchildren, Roxanne, Pauline, Debra, Shea, Adam, Valerie, Amber and William. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
