He was predeceased by: his wife Letizia; his parents, Antonio Summa and Giovanna De Summa; his parent-in-law Giovambattista; his son Tony De Summa; his siblings, Maria Bartoch (late Rudolf) and Filippo De Summa; and his siblings-in-law, Elia Lo Russo (Diamante) of Italy, Vittorio Lo Russo (Sara) and Esterina Sorrenti (Alessandro) of Italy.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Maria Lo Russo; his children, Joanne Serra (Dino), John De Summa (Barb) and Leo De Summa; his grandchildren, Angela Provily (Kyle), Michael Serra (Shyla), Daniel De Summa, Matthew De Summa (Abbey), Nicholas De Summa (Alexandra), Reid Forster and Matthew Forster (Sarah); his sibling Gioconda Pileggi (late Carmelo); and his siblings-in-law, Maria De Summa (late Georgio), Elisabetta Mazza (Raffaele), Giovanna Colafati (Telesio) of Italy and Quintino Lo Russo (Eleonora) of Italy. He is also survived by Uncle.
