She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Barfoot and Mary Barfoot of Owen Sound; her brothers, Elmer and Ronald Barfoot; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Cruickshank, Donald Givens and Molly Barfoot.
She is survived by: her children, Randy, Darlene Askin of London, Sharon, Paul McKnight of Harriston, Wayne and Melissa Askin of Gowanstown; her grandchildren, Stacey (Jordan), Lindsey (Ryan), Patrick, Brock (Jacqueline), Jacob (Kyra) and Clark; her stepgrandson Cameron (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Myles, Jack, Greyson, Jake and Layla; her siblings, Eileen Cruickshank of Owen Sound, Nelson Barfoot (Faye) of Kitchener and Marjorie Givens of Owen Sound; and her husband John Askin.
