With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donna Aziz (London, Ontario), whose life came to an end on September 7, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Grierson and Harold Grierson; her mother-in-law Kay Aziz; and her brother-in-law Brian Eccles. She is survived by: her husband John; her sister Linda Eccles (Duncan); her sons, John Jr. (Bonnie), Jeff (Amy) and Matthew (Sarah); her grandchildren, Ryan, Julia, Hayden, Hannah and Lily; and her brother-in-law Ted Aziz (Carol). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (220 St James St, London, ON N6A3H6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New St. James Presbyterian Church (280 Oxford St E, London, ON N6A1V4).
As a volunteer, she led the Smoking Cessation Program for the Lung Association, trained volunteers for Elections Canada, and was part of the Service League of London for many years.
