He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Keays and Kay Keays; and his close friends, Ron Shantz and Peter Weese. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Keays (Paula) and Michael Keays (Karen); his grandchildren, Simon, Hannah, Kolbe and Michaela; his sister Lynda McKenzie (Dave); his friend Ilderton; and also Mary Keays.
