He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his grandchildren, Mary, Adam and Erick; his parents, David Diggs Sr. and Francis Ross; and his siblings, Pearl Issard, Vera Gilkes, Winn Bell (Ken), Johnny Diggs and Harold Diggs.

He is survived by: his children, Fred, Roxanne (John) and Marcy (Doug); his grandchildren, Melissa, Amber, Michael and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Jermaine, Hayden, Sienna, Toni, Anastasia and Maverick; and his sisters, Mary Crawley of East Preston and Ada Rastig of London. He is also survived by nephews, and many extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Parkwood Veteran Care or Alzheimer's Society.
