He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sang Ming; his children, Song Chann (late Min Pen), Navy Chann (Ly Chhay), Nhor Chann (Pheap Chhorn) and Phy Chann (Lon Chann); and his grandchildren, Thoeun, Soeun, Kosal, Sreypov Chann, Huoy, John Chhay, Samnang, Jormnan, Jormnap Chhorn, Michael and David Chann.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Good News Christian Reformed Church (476 Clarke Rd, London, ON N5V2C7). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
