She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Carey and James Carey; and her siblings, Johnny, Rose, Sarah and Agnes.

She is survived by: her husband Rudolf Zimmer (Rudy); her children, Rudolf Zimmer (Rudy), Michelle Smart (Tom), Bridget Huston (Dave) and Cecile O'Neill (Dave); her grandsons, Andrew (Jadyn James) and Liam Zimmer; her children, Meghan, Madeline Smart (Ryan Pritchard), Erik, Jake, Riley, Levi Huston, Charlotte and Jude O'Neill; her great grandchild Odze Zimmer; and her sister-in-law Hannelore Christa Zimmer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation.
