He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie Elizabeth Smith (Huggins); his daughter Christine; his son-in-law Andy Hall of Guelph; his grandchildren, Lillian Hall and Griffin Hall; his parents, Earle Smith and Margaret Smith (Ratz) of London; his parents-in-law, Thomas, Elizabeth Huggins and Owen Sound; and his siblings, Bruce, Lorna Smith of Dashwood, Carol and Hugh Crumplen of Courtice. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews.
