She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Newman; her grandson Spencer Edwards; her brother Derek Hanney; and her sister-in-law Pauline Hanney. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Cranston (David) and Deborah; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jarret, Amanda, Jack, Justin and Dillon.
