She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thorpe and Lillian Thorpe (Swain); and her niece Krista St (Burns). She is survived by: her great-nephew David; her daughter-in-law Patricia; her granddaughters, Madeline and Natalie; her sister Carol Burns; her brother-in-law Tom Burns; her niece Jennifer Burns (Gaetan Lemieux); her nephew Daniel Burns; her cousins, Johnette Brock, Shirley Fraser and Karran Thorpe (Leslie Vaala); and her friends, Ellen and Carol.
