She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sherwood and Viola Sherwood; her husband Gerald Ward; her siblings, Muriel (Keith), Mary, Dorothy (Stewart) and Bill (May); her sister-in-law Lillian (Bern); and her daughter-in-law Anna Fracarro.

She is survived by: her sister Lois Harding (Don); her children, Kathryn (John), Douglas (Anna), Arnold (Jean), Michele, Kevin (Karen) and Tyler (Connie); her grandchildren, Chrystine Vandendriessche (Nicolas), Jayden Kilbourne (Karen), Ashley Ward, Josh, Stacy Ward, Elizabeth, Irene, Walter Ward, Calvin and Tyra Ward; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Lauren Vandendriessche and Lily Marie Kilbourne.

In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully acknowledge donations to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children or a charity of choice.
