Bert Dykstra Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Dykstra (London, Ontario), who passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mike Dykstra and Leo Dykstra; and his siblings-in-law, Murray Siertsema, Bill VanReenen, Murray Klaas and Simona Maaskant.

He is survived by: his wife Nellie (Maaskant); his children, Charlene VanGurp (David), Ben Dykstra (Tara), Simona Boeringa (John), Coralie Dykstra (Jeff Clark), Berton Dykstra (Tanya) and Janelle Dykstra; his grandchildren, Jordan (Nadin), Aaron, Josiah (Lyric Huygen), Audrey, Aven, Breelyn, Callum, Emma, Nolan (Sarah), Abby, Levi, Olive, Brayden, Danika and Koen; and his siblings, Doreen Siertsema, Helen Dykstra, Kees Dykstra (Sandra), Francine Dykstra, Lois VanReenen, Alfred Dykstra (Margaret), Margaret Klaas, Tom Dykstra (Diane), John Maaskant, Sandy Maaskant, Frieda Maaskant, Hugo Maaskant (Moira), Rob Maaskant (Lori), Charlie Maaskant (Karen) and Micheal Maaskant.
