In the vast expanse of eternity, Benay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Benay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Venuta (McLean) and Bernard Venuta (Barney). She is survived by: her children, Gina Shapiro of Toronto, Jonas Shapiro (Jessica Butler) of London and Zarina Beattie (Jesse) of London; her sister Michele Venuta Elo (late Stan Elo); and her cousins, Gina Venuta Colona of Florida and Bob Venuta of Victoria, BC.. She is also survived by beautiful grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
