He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Salomone and Costanza Salomone; his siblings, Valentino (Giovina), Filomena Lannutti (Antonio) and Carmine of Italy; his parents-in-law, Francesca and Ferrante Coccimiglio; and his siblings-in-law, Angela Iacucci (Emilio), Maria Florio (Carmine), Saveria Adamo (Antonio) and Lucia Guzzo (late Fortunato).
He is survived by: his wife Emilia; his son Nick (late Carmela); his grandchildren, Anthony and Emily; his nieces and nephews, London, Sault Ste and Marie; and his caregiver Sarah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home (362 Waterloo St, London, ON N6B2N6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (806 Victoria St, London, ON N5Y4E1).
