He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katharina Schelken; his friend EvaMarie Hupfel of Schussler; his children, Peter (Carol), Helene (Bryan Rouse), Eric (Caren) and Irene (Henry Marsh); his sister Anne Fricko; his grandchildren, Laura (Dan Husser), Timothy Rasimus (Melissa), Heather Froehlich, Jennifer (Matt Thomas), Mark (Rochelle), Shauna Shepley (Chris), Amy (Greg Harris), Christopher (Ashley), Breanne Avraham, Matthew Marsh (Nicole) and Ryan Marsh; his nieces, Trudy, Mary Ann and Kathleen; and his nephew David.
