He was predeceased by: his wife Gerda. He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret (Marinus Bakker), Helen (Fred Gnuechtel) and Janet (Ray Beldman); his grandchildren, Karen Stephens (Mike), Ruth Anne Brown (Mike), Mike Bakker (Courtney), Krystina Cornforth (Matthew), Mary Ann Parris (Scott), Kyle Gnuechtel (Christina), Will Beldman (Melissa), Andrew Beldman, Jocelyn Stevens (Omari) and Mark Beldman; his sisters, Ielk (Jaap), Griet and Lies; and his sister-in-law Janny Postma of Clinton. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
