He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Pierce (Martin); and his sister June Chesnutt (Pierce). He is survived by: his wife Joan Pierce (Honeyborne); his children, Cathy Skerritt (Steve), Rob Pierce (Barb) and John Pierce (Leah); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Sydney, Noah Skerritt, Liam, Matthew, Emily Pierce and Amelia Pierce.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Paul's Anglican Church or the Almonte General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
