She was predeceased by: her grandson Alan; her great grandchild Trinity; her parents, Gerrit and Gerda of Jong; her parents-in-law, William and Doris Desjardins; her sibling Lodie (Annie) of Jong; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine (John), John, Florence (Archie), Leonard and Donna.

She is survived by: her husband Alphonse Leland "Spanky" Desjardins; her sons, William "Bill" (Bev), Mike (Carmen), Mark (Louise), Ken (Darlene) and Todd (Helena); her grandchildren, Andrea, Angela, Dawn, Alisha, Jason, Ken Jr., Simone, Natalie, Timothy, Joshua and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Addison, Ethan, Tristan, Rylan, Kane, Natalya, Nolan, Jordyn, Emma, Alex, Alice, Carter and Alexandra; and her siblings-in-law, Richard and Pat (Brenda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
