She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Panamick (M'Chigeeng) and Christine Panamick (Wiikwemkoong); her husband Clifford Debassige; and her siblings, Isadore Panamick (Angeline) and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Beverley (John), Stephanie (late Brian) and Scott; her stepson Luke; her grandchildren, Shauna, Katelyn, Cassandra, Scott Jr. and Brian Bisson Jr. (Sonny); her siblings, Vincent, Henry (Denise), Hazel, Joe (Virginia), Eileen, Jimmy (Anita) and Bernard; and her brother-in-law Clifford.
She had a long career at the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation in M'Chigeeng in pioneering the revitalization of Ojibwe language and culture.
