He was predeceased by: his parents, David Roy Sr. and Agnes Roy; his siblings, Maggie Paul, Fred Roy, Ivan Roy and Mary Debassige; his sons, David Faron Roy Jr. (Carolyn), Percy Stuart Roy and Patrick Ivan Hare; his grandchildren, Trista (Ethan) and Liam; his close friend Deborah Hare; and also Toby.
He is survived by: his sisters, Florence Roy of Chicago and Nancy Hare of M'Chigeeng. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
